Dr. Taguchi received his medical degree from Yokohama City University School of Medicine, Japan and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yokohama City University Hospital. He then completed a PhD in Endocrinology at Yokohama City University Graduate School and came to The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he became a Research Fellow with Dr. Stavros Manolagas, a world-renowned Endocrinologist in osteoporosis research, and Director of the Center for Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases. Dr. Taguchi has published his research findings in leading medical journals around the world. Because of his love for western medicine, Dr. Taguchi completed a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to practice in the US where he had the privelege of being trained by nationally-recognized maternal fetal medicine specilaists and where he received the honor of being chosen Chief Resident in his 4th year.

Dr. Taguchi’s distinguished career in academic research gives him a unique perspective and a deeper understanding of aging women’s health as a clinician. “I am dedicated to providing the best obstetrical and gynecological care to accommodate all of my patients needs with as much expertise and compassion as possible.”

Dr. Taguchi’s reputation for his outstanding patient care comes from the way he listens to and understands his patients’ needs and concerns. He uses cutting-edge, state-of-the-art technology in his practice such as VOTIVA, which is a FDA-introduced radiofrequency technique, used to treat vaginal laxity, urinary incontinence, labiaplasty, pelvic floor restoration, and sexual dysfunction. He consults with each patient to formulate an individualized treatment plan to achieve the patient's goals, from a woman’s early years through her stages of reproductive life. From the very first visit, the Taguchi Women’s Clinic team strives to develop a personal relationship with each patient and offer each woman the best care.

Dr. Taguchi and his wife Gina live in Oklahoma with their daughter, Rozina. Outside of his busy practice, he enjoys skiing, fly fishing, golfing and music. Dr. Taguchi’s father was a practicing OB/GYN physician in Japan for 46 years, and he is proudly following in his father’s footsteps.

Dr. Taguchi is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Oklahoma State Medical Association, the Japanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology).
